Juventus Choir is an award-winning choir for children and youth. Since its inception in 1994, it has provided exceptional musical education and vocal training to hundreds of Saskatchewan youth. Over the years, the choir has won numerous prestigious awards. The quality of the training provided has enabled many program graduates to enter rewarding musical careers nationally and internationally.
Juventus focuses on encouraging excellence in the development of vocal skill and performance, while at the same time fostering friendships and a sense of fun. Through their participation in the choir, youth members build musical abilities, personal confidence, teamwork skills and lifelong friendships.
The choir offers a range of rehearsal and performance opportunities throughout the year, which often include social time for members and their families. Annual choir “camps” have incorporated pizza lunches, bowling parties, hayrides, horseback riding and more.
Juventus Choir is made up of a Junior Choir, whose members range in age from 6 to 13, and a Concert Choir whose members range in age from 10 to 18. Juventus welcomes all children and youth interested in participating in vocal training to meet with the conductor for assessment and placement.
